The CRAKS project implemented in Uganda is led by the African Centre for Trade and Development (ACTADE), in collaboration with the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) with funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada. The CRAKS project is designed to strengthen agricultural adaptation knowledge systems in vulnerable communities in Uganda. This project intends to use a gender transformative approach to promote locally led adaptation knowledge brokering in agriculture and shall be implemented in Tororo, Alebtong and Kalungu districts.

The project partners are organising an inception workshop to introduce the project to key stakeholders and gather feedback to inform project improvements and implementation.  The workshop is scheduled on the Thursday 22nd February 2024 at Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz, starting at 8.00am.
